I’ve sold on etsy, Craigslist, Shopify and through my own website over the last few years. While I’ve had success with all of these platforms, I’ve recently found a new love for selling on ebay this year. Since starting my used book selling business on ebay I’ve had great success with little effort. I’ve found that ebay is a great platform for selling second hand items because of these six reasons:

- I’ve received hundreds of free listing offers which cuts down on my selling costs

- I’ve found that I’m able to get a very high price for items

Another great item to sell on ebay is jewelry. Often times jewelry can sell for a very high price and is very easy to store, package and ship. This is also the type of item that people will purchase during any economic recession, especially wedding rings and collectable jewelry.
