15 places to share affiliate links in 2022

This post contains affiliate links, which means I will make a commission at no extra cost to you should you click through and make a purchase. This post is not meant to provide financial or legal advice. Consult your attorney before implementing anything mentioned in this blog.

Looking for places to share affiliate links online? In this post I share 15 places to share your affiliate links online in 2020.

What is an affiliate marketer?

An affiliate marketer is someone who promotes products in exchange for commissions, free product or benefits. Any one can become an affiliate marketer and it's free to get started. An affiliate program allows affiliates marketers to earn commissions on sales generated from referrals by affiliates. Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn income from home in 2020, especially for moms. Affiliate programs help individuals and families earn income while promoting something they are passionate about.

Which affiliate companies should I work with?

We work with several affiliate programs, our most profitable programs are ShareaSale and BrandCycle. Both companies have easy-to-use platforms, allow you to create beautiful and functional advertisements and affiliate links, and they all pay on time.

Getting started as an Affiliate Marketer

Before sharing your first link as an Affiliate Marketer, check out the FTC guidelines for sharing affiliate links and earning commissions as an affiliate. Basic synopsis: Always disclose that you are an affiliate and will earn commissions on all purchases made using your affiliate link. One simple way to do this is simply use the words “affiliate link” or “ad” in your description. The disclosure must be made before the link.

Here's 15 places to share affiliate links in 2020:

Facebook Profile

Create a status update and share your affiliate link with your friends, family and community.

Facebook Page

Create a free dedicated Facebook business page and share your affiliate link with your followers.

Facebook Groups

If you're active in Facebook Groups and they allow you to share affiliate links, drop your affiliate link every once in a while when appropriate.

Facebook Ads

Facebook allows you to share affiliate links in their ads, link your ad to your affiliate link and send customers directly to the program while earning commissions on all sales your ad generates.

Instagram Profile

Share your affiliate link in your Instagram profile and increase sales by promoting it via your Instagram following.

Twitter Profile

Same as Instagram, add your affiliate link to your Twitter profile.

Text Message

This one is great, if you have a friend who wants to purchase a product you promote, simply text them your affiliate link! Easy peasy.

Blog post

If you have a blog or website, simply create a post titled something and share your thoughts, experiences and what you've learned while using the program. Share your affiliate link in this post and then share the post everywhere you can think (including the places mentioned in this post).

Email list

If you don't have an email list yet, consider starting to gather the emails of your friends, family and community so you can share news updates about yourself, promote your affiliate link, and drive sales to increase your monthly commissions.

Pinterest

Did you know you can promote your affiliate link using Pinterest? If you have a blog or website, create an image and add targeted keywords, such as “how to go vegan” “Why to go vegan” etc. Then, publish your content and pin your post to Pinterest. This will increase your online exposure and encourage sales.

YouTube

Better yet, create a video of yourself talking about the affiliate program and share your link in your YouTube bio and in the video description. Or, direct viewers to your personal website and share the link with them there. People LOVE watching videos and tutorials.

LinkedIn

Share your affiliate link in your LinkedIn bio and include in your resume that you are an affiliate marketer! Present yourself as a professional and authority on the subject.

Forums

If you are part of any online forums, such as Reddit or similar, when appropriate share your affiliate link with the other members of your forum.

Google Ads

Google ads also allow you to share your affiliate link. Simply create an ad and with your affiliate link and earn commissions when people searching Google purchase using your link.

PDFs

Some affiliate programs allow you to share affiliate links in your own PDF documents. For example, you can create a free downloadable PDF which includes your affiliate links. Then share this PDF with your audience. When they download the PDF they will essentially have a document on their computer that contains your links indefinitely.

Have any other places to share affiliate links that I didn't mention in this post? Please let us know in the comments below! Are you an affiliate marketer? Which company(s) do you work with? Share in the comments below.
