An affiliate program allows affiliates marketers to earn commissions on sales generated from referrals by affiliates. Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn income from home in 2020, especially for moms. Affiliate programs help individuals and families earn income while promoting something they are passionate about.

Getting started as an Affiliate Marketer
Before sharing your first link as an Affiliate Marketer, check out the FTC guidelines for sharing affiliate links and earning commissions as an affiliate. Basic synopsis: Always disclose that you are an affiliate and will earn commissions on all purchases made using your affiliate link. One simple way to do this is simply use the words “affiliate link” or “ad” in your description. The disclosure must be made before the link.

Facebook Profile
Create a status update and share your affiliate link with your friends, family and community.
Facebook Page
Create a free dedicated Facebook business page and share your affiliate link with your followers.
Facebook Groups
If you're active in Facebook Groups and they allow you to share affiliate links, drop your affiliate link every once in a while when appropriate.
Facebook Ads
Facebook allows you to share affiliate links in their ads, link your ad to your affiliate link and send customers directly to the program while earning commissions on all sales your ad generates.
Instagram Profile
Share your affiliate link in your Instagram profile and increase sales by promoting it via your Instagram following.
Twitter Profile
Same as Instagram, add your affiliate link to your Twitter profile.
Text Message
This one is great, if you have a friend who wants to purchase a product you promote, simply text them your affiliate link! Easy peasy.
Blog post
If you have a blog or website, simply create a post titled something and share your thoughts, experiences and what you've learned while using the program. Share your affiliate link in this post and then share the post everywhere you can think (including the places mentioned in this post).
Email list
If you don't have an email list yet, consider starting to gather the emails of your friends, family and community so you can share news updates about yourself, promote your affiliate link, and drive sales to increase your monthly commissions.
Did you know you can promote your affiliate link using Pinterest? If you have a blog or website, create an image and add targeted keywords, such as “how to go vegan” “Why to go vegan” etc. Then, publish your content and pin your post to Pinterest. Forums
If you are part of any online forums, such as Reddit or similar, when appropriate share your affiliate link with the other members of your forum.
Google Ads
Google ads also allow you to share your affiliate link. Simply create an ad and with your affiliate link and earn commissions when people searching Google purchase using your link.
PDFs
Some affiliate programs allow you to share affiliate links in your own PDF documents. For example, you can create a free downloadable PDF which includes your affiliate links. Then share this PDF with your audience. When they download the PDF they will essentially have a document on their computer that contains your links indefinitely.
